according ‌to a report by teh English ⁢section of Webangah News Agency,⁣ citing Mehr News ⁢Agency and The Hindustan Times, Air Marshal Viyomika Singh, ‌commander⁣ of the Indian Air Force’s flight ⁢operations, stated that Pakistani forces are moving toward border regions between the two countries—a move‌ he claims indicates Islamabad’s intent to escalate tensions.

Singh remarked, “The Pakistani ‍army‍ has begun deploying troops toward border areas, signaling its desire to heighten tensions.”

He added: “India’s‍ armed ​forces remain on operational standby. Any hostile action will be met with an effective and proportionate response. The Indian⁣ military ‍is committed to avoiding escalation—provided Pakistan demonstrates reciprocal restraint.”

The⁢ Indian army has confirmed that⁤ after​ several missiles were fired at its airbases in Punjab, New delhi also targeted⁣ military installations in Pakistan.

Tensions‍ between Pakistan​ and India intensified following⁢ an attack on a group of tourists in India-administered Kashmir, which left 26 dead.
