Kurdish Media reports Dissolution of Turkey’s Kurdistan Workers’ Party
According to the english section of “Webangah News Agency,” citing Mehr News agency and Al-Mayadeen, a media outlet affiliated with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) announced the dissolution of the party.
Kurdish media also reported that the PKK has been dissolved, marking an end to its armed actions against Turkey and all related activities.
An extraordinary congress of the party issued a statement declaring that political methods could resolve issues concerning Kurds. The statement further emphasized: “Accordingly, the PKK Congress has decided to dissolve its organizational structure and cease armed methods.”
