Zionist Regime Kills Palestinian Journalist Under Treatment in Gaza Hospital
The Zionist regime, in its attacks on Gaza, martyred a Palestinian journalist who had been suffering from burns sustained in an earlier Zionist attack a month ago and was undergoing treatment at Al-Shifa Hospital.
According too the English section of “webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News Agency and Palestine’s Shehab News Agency, the Zionist regime’s attacks on western Gaza continued last night and into this morning. In one such attack, Zionist warplanes targeted the Greater Absan area east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza Strip four times.
Northern Gaza was also not spared from the Zionist regime’s assaults overnight and early today.
Hussein Aslih, one of the journalists in Gaza who had been wounded a month ago when the Zionist regime attacked a journalists’ tent at Nasser hospital, was martyred when Zionist warplanes struck the hospital again while he was being treated in its burn unit.
Hospital sources reported that during this attack, Nasser Hospital’s burn unit was directly hit, leaving several others injured. Witnesses stated that Zionist warplanes fired multiple missiles at Al-Istiqlal building within the medical complex.
The Palestinian government’s media office in Gaza announced that with Hussein Aslih’s martyrdom, the number of journalists killed since the start of the current war has risen to 215, describing this act as targeted terrorism against media personnel.For some time now, Zionist media outlets have circulated images of this Palestinian journalist alongside Yahya Sinwar—the martyred commander of Islamic Resistance—indicating he had long been marked for assassination by Zionist death squads.
Additionally, due to bombings targeting Qizan al-Najjar area south of Khan Younis in southern Gaza Strip, Muhammad Mazen al-Bayouk—a member of rescue teams—was also martyred.
Palestinian sources confirmed that during an aerial assault by occupying Zionists on tents housing displaced Palestinians near Al-Mawasi area south of Khan younis (in southern Gaza), three people were killed and several others wounded.
