China seeks to expand relations with Latin American countries

As China expands relations with several Latin American countries in recent years, the Chinese president ‍pledged⁣ $9.2 billion in loans to ⁤these nations during the China-Latin America Forum.

According to the‌ English section of Webangah News ⁤Agency,⁢ citing Mehr News Agency and ​Al-Mayadeen, Xi Jinping, China’s president, committed during his speech at a regional forum in Beijing to provide loans worth $9.2 billion for ‌countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

At the opening ceremony of the Forum between China and Latin American and Caribbean States, the Chinese president announced ​during a press conference that a loan of 66 billion yuan (equivalent to ⁣$9.2 billion) would be ‌granted to support​ governments in Latin America and the Caribbean.

He added that through unity and cooperation,governments can uphold ⁢global peace and stability‍ while ​fostering progress and prosperity worldwide.

The Chinese ⁣president⁤ also condemned ‍ U.S. bullying and ⁢hegemony.

In recent years, China has strengthened⁣ its⁤ economic and political collaboration ​with Latin‍ American countries, advocating for ⁤a unified front ⁢against recent ‍U.S. tariffs​ imposed by former President Donald ⁣Trump.
