Hamas reacts to savage bombing of European hospital in Gaza
According to a report by the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al jazeera, hamas issued a statement in response to last night’s brutal attacks by the Zionist regime on the grounds of Gaza’s European hospital, which resulted in dozens of civilians being killed or wounded and many others missing. The movement stated that the savage airstrikes by Zionist warplanes on and around the European hospital represent yet another crime in their assault on Gaza’s remaining hospitals, aimed at rendering them non-functional as part of their ongoing genocidal war against the Strip.
The Hamas statement emphasized: Dozens were martyred or injured in these barbaric attacks, including patients, medical staff, and members of rescue and emergency organizations who were attempting to save wounded individuals before being bombed again—strikes that ultimately lead to the hospital’s complete destruction and shutdown.
The movement added: The fascist cabinet of the Zionist regime continues its blatant violations of international law and unprecedented war crimes by bombing hospitals filled with patients and displaced people, committing atrocities within them.
Responding to false claims by Zionists about resistance forces using hospitals for military purposes, Hamas stressed: The occupying army’s allegations regarding military centers at Gaza’s European Hospital are nothing but lies meant to mislead public opinion. Zionists have repeatedly used this fabricated pretext to attack medical facilities and massacre defenseless civilians.
The statement concluded: We call on the international community, the United Nations—particularly its Security Council—and affiliated institutions to assume their responsibilities toward these savage crimes by Zionists. They must act to halt continuous massacres in Gaza Strip while opposing how international laws are mocked by this occupying regime.
The statement followed last night’s intentional systemic attacks targeting hospitals across Gaza when Israeli forces heavily bombarded areas near Khan Younis’ eastern-based facility resulting over 20 martyrs alongside dozens injured/missing casualties reported so far today morning alone where death toll has risen sharply sence dawn hours now standing officially at least 56 fatalities (50 northern residents) plus more than hundred wounded/missing due relentless air raids conducted throughout early morning period until now without cessation whatsoever from invading fighter jets belonging rogue state entity known globally under alias “Israel”.
