Work schedule of Arab summit meeting and draft Baghdad statement

Arab media highlight the working schedule of the Arab ⁣League summit in Baghdad.

According ⁢to the English section of webangah News Agency,‍ citing ⁢Mehr News Agency ⁤and Shafaq ‌News, the⁣ 34th session‍ of the Arab League Summit is set⁣ to begin ‌today, Saturday, in Baghdad ​with the participation of arab leaders under strict‍ security measures.

Based​ on the announced schedule, the summit will commence at 10:00⁤ AM local time as arab ‍leaders arrive at the venue, followed by⁣ a group photo. ‍The opening ceremony​ will be held publicly at 11:00 AM, where Iraqi officials—as current chairs—will deliver ‌speeches after receiving presidency from Bahrain.

Ahmed Aboul ‍Gheit, Secretary-General of the Arab League, and ⁤othre Arab leaders will also‍ address⁣ attendees. At 12:30 PM, closed-door working sessions ‍will ⁣begin to review resolutions. The ⁤public closing ceremony will follow ​with ‍the issuance of‍ The Baghdad Declaration, and host country for next session announced.

The fifth Economic and ⁢Social Growth Summit is also scheduled for today. Its opening ceremony⁤ starts​ at 3:00 PM.
