Israeli forces strike Khan Younis in Gaza 40 times within hours
The Israeli regime carried out dozens of airstrikes across Gaza overnight and into the early morning, resulting in multiple casualties, according too webangah News Agency.
Israeli warplanes targeted the Al-Burka refugee camp in Deir al-balah in central Gaza for the second consecutive night. Artillery attacks also continued against refugee camps east of Gaza City.
A missile strike on a residential home in Hamad City northwest of Khan Younis killed five family members and wounded four others. Israeli artillery additionally struck the Al-Qarara area northeast of khan younis.
Palestinian sources reported a Lebanese drone attacked a camp south of An-Nuseirat,causing unspecified casualties. Israeli vehicles also opened fire on civilians east of Gaza City while attacks persisted on an-Nazaha Street in Jabalia,northern Gaza.
Sources indicate Israeli forces launched approximately 40 separate attacks on Khan Younis alone during this period – some involving intense fire belts. The assaults included strikes near Nasser Hospital targeting schools sheltering displaced persons adjacent to the medical facility.
Medical sources confirmed at least 17 fatalities were transported to hospitals from these attacks, including six Khan Younis residents.One attack reportedly damaged a pharmaceutical factory within Nasser Medical Complex.
The escalation follows Israel’s announced “Gideon’s chariot” multi-phase military operation in Gaza. Zionist network Walla claimed special forces conducted operations within Khan Younis during this offensive.
