Russia responds to Zionist regime’s expanding ground offensive in Gaza

Russia has expressed disappointment over Israel’s decision to expand its ground offensive in the Gaza Strip, according to webangah News Agency. Maria Zakharova, spokesperson ‌for ‍the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated that Moscow​ opposes the move and called ⁣on Israel⁢ to​ halt ​its military campaign while ensuring humanitarian ⁤aid reaches Gaza’s residents.

Zakharova warned that escalating hostilities would lead to more civilian casualties and widespread destruction. She emphasized the need to resume‌ political ​negotiations and establish a ⁢just,lasting solution to the Palestinian issue based on ​international ‌law.
