The Ministry of Electricity confirmed these planned outages aim to ensure full operational readiness of power units during ⁣peak summer demand. The cuts will ⁤be temporary and follow pre-announced‍ schedules.

Meteorological​ data shows temperatures reaching 48°C in Kuwait’s hottest regions, with‌ even the coolest areas recording 40°C. Forecasters warn the heatwave may intensify in coming days.

The ministry urged ⁢citizens and residents to practice energy conservation, especially by avoiding heavy electrical⁤ appliance use during peak consumption‍ hours.
