Jeremy Corbyn tells Netanyahu Gaza child and woman killings are shameful
UK MP Jeremy Corbyn condemns the killing of women and children in Gaza as “shameful,” acknowledging that British arms exports too Israel have increased under the Starmer government.
In an interview with Al Jazeera, UK Parliament member Jeremy Corbyn stated: “I say to Netanyahu that the killing of women and children in Gaza is shameful.”
Corbyn added: “British-supplied weapons have been used in the killing of gaza’s children.”
The MP emphasized that arms exports from Britain to Israel have risen under Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s administration, declaring: “I will call for an open and self-reliant inquiry into the UK government’s complicity with israel in the war on Gaza.”
Corbyn noted: “Our estimates indicate that one million people in Britain participated in anti-war activities related to Gaza over the past year.”
