Hamas responds to US lawmaker’s call for nuclear strike on Gaza
According to webangah news Agency, Hamas issued a statement declaring that a US congressman’s call for a nuclear attack on Gaza reflects the racist and fascist ideologies of certain American politicians.
The movement added that the US government and Congress must denounce these remarks. The American Congress, which has welcomed war criminals like Netanyahu, has become a platform justifying this regime’s crimes.
Hamas emphasized that such statements constitute a blatant violation of international law and Geneva Conventions, amounting to incitement to use weapons of mass destruction against over 2 million civilians.
This reaction comes after a Republican House Representative called for nuclear strikes on Gaza during an interview with Fox News, describing the Palestinian cause as “absolute evil.”
The congressman further demanded that Gaza face what the US did to Japan during World War II without negotiation. He stated: “In WWII, we didn’t negotiate with Nazis or Japanese – we nuked them twice.”
