US official makes provocative remarks against Hezbollah’s weapons

According ⁢to webangah News Agency,Morgan Ortagus,the US ​Deputy Special Envoy to the middle East,made inflammatory statements demanding that Lebanon’s hezbollah be disarmed “as soon as possible.”

she further asserted that weapons should only remain in the hands of the Lebanese government.

Ortagus went even further by commenting on economic matters‌ related ‍to Hezbollah,⁢ stating⁤ that financial resources supporting⁤ the group in Lebanon must be​ cut off.

The diplomat had previously made similar interfering ‌remarks ‌regarding Lebanon’s internal affairs.
