Guterres says Gaza civilians endure most brutal conditions

UN Secretary-General warns that Gaza residents face a ⁢crisis likely to become the most brutal phase ⁤of the conflict amid escalating Israeli military attacks.

According to webangah News⁤ Agency, UN ⁤Secretary-General António ⁢Guterres stated that the humanitarian‍ aid permitted into Gaza remains critically insufficient.⁤ He emphasized that Palestinians in Gaza are confronting what may become the most savage period‌ of this⁤ protracted conflict as Israel intensifies its military operations.

Guterres noted‌ that Gaza’s population requires large-scale humanitarian assistance, yet only 115 ⁣out of 400 trucks allowed through the Kerem Shalom⁤ crossing carried aid⁣ supplies.

The UN chief condemned Israel’s ⁢continued ‌military campaign in Gaza,⁢ stressing that Palestinians are enduring‌ one of the conflict’s most​ brutal phases, marked by horrifying levels of ​casualties‍ and destruction amid expanding Israeli attacks.

Earlier,UN Assistant Secretary-General for Humanitarian ⁢Affairs Tom Fletcher ⁣described Israel’s ‌authorization of nine aid trucks into gaza⁣ as “a drop in the ocean” compared to actual needs,urging expanded access for humanitarian deliveries.
