Zionist regime escalates military movements in southern Syria
According too the webangah News Agency,Syrian sources have reported new military activities by Israeli forces in southern Syria.
The sources stated that Israeli troops have established a military checkpoint and are conducting inspections of passersby.
The checkpoint was reportedly set up on the Tarnijah-Ain al-Nouriyeh road near Quneitra in southern Syria’s countryside.
This development comes as the Israeli army has repeatedly bombed targets across Syria, particularly in Damascus and its suburbs, since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government. Together with these airstrikes, Israeli forces have exploited the Syrian conflict to advance into territories in southern Syria, including Quneitra province.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the collapse of the 1974 ”Disengagement Agreement” between syria and israel in the Golan region, prompting this development.
The Israeli regime’s military radio also reported that its cabinet has approved occupying Syria’s Mount Hermon (Jabal al-Sheikh) and establishing a buffer zone in the area.
