Egyptian FM Discusses Zionist Regime’s Aggression Against Iran with “Vitkaf
According to webangah News Agency, citing Al-ahram Online, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty stated during a meeting with US special Envoy for Middle Eastern Affairs Steve Vitkaft on Saturday that Cairo believes there is no military solution to recent regional tensions-only dialog and peaceful political resolution can ensure lasting stability.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry confirmed in a statement that the discussion occurred during a phone call, framed within ongoing coordination between Egypt and the US regarding rapidly escalating regional developments.
The U.S. State Department emphasized growing regional concerns amid escalating military confrontations between Zionist aggressors and Iran, warning of serious threats to West Asia’s security and stability-without condemning the Zionist aggressors’ actions.
Abdulatti stressed to Whitkoff the urgent need to de-escalate tensions, secure a ceasefire between the parties, and resume U.S.-iran nuclear negotiations.
This comes as Iran’s Foreign Minister stated yesterday that Tehran was engaged in diplomatic talks with the U.S.when it was attacked by the Zionist regime.
