30-Meter Iranian Flag Raised at Historic São Paulo Bridge + Photos
At the invitation of the Campaign in Support of Iran and Palestine, a 30-meter Iranian flag was hoisted on the historic bridge opposite São Paulo’s city Hall in a symbolic gesture coinciding with the funeral procession for martyrs of the Zionist regime’s crimes in Tehran.
The action accompanied a large rally organized by 50 Brazilian political parties and civil society groups at Paulista Academy,where participants declared solidarity with Iran against global capitalist forces.
Representatives from prominent organizations-including the PCO Party, PCdB Party, Workers’ Party (PT), and Anti-Capitalist Struggle Commitee-attended the gathering. They condemned what they called “oppressive policies” by Israel and its Western allies through chants demanding justice.
The event demonstrated growing international unity with Iran against hegemonic pressures, sending a clear message of global progressive forces standing with “righteous defenders.”
