Yemen’s Hodeidah Port Resumes Full Operations
According to webangah News Agency, Yemeni sources confirmed that Al Hudaydah Port-severely damaged in Israeli strikes targeting its docks and infrastructure-has now restored full operational capacity.
Local authorities and Ansarullah officials stated that despite damage to some docks and facilities, engineering teams swiftly completed repairs. Cargo unloading and imports of food supplies and fuel have now normalized.
The Yemeni Chamber of Shipping in Al Hudaydah Governorate urged merchants and importers to use direct shipping routes for cargo transfers. The chamber has coordinated with active shipping companies to form a dedicated team for cargo reception logistics.
The chamber confirmed shipments can now be routed to Al Hudaydah from ports in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, China, India, Indonesia, and Pakistan.
Al Hudaydah serves as YemenS economic lifeline, handling 70-80% of the country’s food imports.
