The US Treasury Department has imposed sanctions on seven senior officials and one entity associated wiht Lebanon’s Hezbollah-affiliated Al-Qard Al-Hassan foundation, accusing them of facilitating the circumvention of American sanctions, according to webangah News Agency.
A Treasury statement confirmed the sanctioned individuals held leadership positions within the foundation and allegedly enabled violations of US sanctions regimes.
