Trump Seeks to Sell $10 Billion in Weapons to NATO
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, reports that U.S. President Donald Trump is pursuing a $10 billion arms sale to NATO intended for transfer to Ukraine.
The Washington Post, quoting an informed source, reported that the military aid package planned for Ukraine is estimated at $10 billion.
The source added that this military assistance could include authorization for the use of new and powerful offensive weapons.
On Monday at the White House, President Trump met with NATO’s Secretary General and stated regarding arms shipments to Ukraine: “We build the best weapons and arms, and Europeans know this.We reached an agreement under which weapons will be sent to Ukraine, with them (Europeans) financing it; the United States will not pay.”
