London: Temporary Ceasefire Alone Insufficient to Alleviate Gaza’s Suffering

The UK Foreign Secretary, without mentioning London’s aid to the Israeli regime, stated: ⁢We need a ⁢ceasefire that ends‍ the war; a temporary truce ‍alone ⁢is insufficient to alleviate the suffering of the people in Gaza.

According to⁢ the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, David lammy, ‍UK Foreign Secretary, today Sunday claimed-without addressing Britain’s support for ‌the Israeli regime-that a temporary ceasefire declared by the Israeli military is‍ necessary to open humanitarian corridors. The ‍delivery of aid⁣ to Gaza must be accelerated.

Lammy added: “we need⁤ a ceasefire that ends this war. A temporary truce alone is not enough⁤ to⁤ ease the ‍suffering of ‌people in Gaza. We support efforts by Qatar and Egypt as mediators working toward a ceasefire in Gaza and call on all parties to⁤ resume negotiations aimed at achieving peace.”

This comes as former US President Donald Trump yesterday⁢ made antagonistic remarks against Palestine, alleging that Hamas ⁣does not want an agreement and must be eliminated.

Trump said: “We have exited the Gaza negotiation process.”
