Putin: Navy’s Duty Is to Protect National Sovereignty and Interests
Russian President declared: The primary role of the Navy is to ensure Russia’s security, protecting the country’s sovereignty and national interests.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing RIA Novosti, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced today, Sunday, on the occasion of Russian Navy day that the russian naval fleet will be equipped with the most advanced technologies and weapons.
The president added that the Navy’s primary mission is to guarantee Russia’s security and safeguard its sovereignty and national interests. He stated that current naval exercises focus on practicing precise maneuvers by units and fleets to repel maritime attacks.
Vladimir Putin also emphasized Moscow’s determination to strengthen its defensive capabilities.
