Two Drone Attacks Target Iraqi Kurdistan Region
Security sources report two drone attacks targeting the kurdistan Region of Iraq.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed, security officials in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq announced new drone attacks on Erbil, the regional capital, on Monday.
The kurdistan Counter-Terrorism Service issued a statement reporting that a suicide drone crashed at 5:50 a.m. today in the Rizgari area of Erbil province.
Security sources also confirmed that a second drone simultaneously fell in the village of Kosor without causing any casualties or damage.
Earlier drone strikes had targeted erbil and oil fields within the Kurdistan Region as well.
