Netanyahu Claims Israel Is on the Brink of Ending Gaza War
According to the english section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera,Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated in a press conference that the war in Gaza is approaching its end.
Netanyahu made this claim despite the Israeli military operation to seize Gaza City having just begun.
He added that Israel will continue its efforts to take full control of Gaza even if Hamas agrees to a ceasefire.
The prime minister asserted that if Hamas agrees to disarm and release all Israeli prisoners, the war will conclude.
Meanwhile, Netanyahu has repeatedly obstructed ceasefire negotiations within Israel’s occupied territories, seeking to prolong the Gaza conflict amid his efforts to avoid ongoing court trials.
“Our goal is the release of all hostages and disarming Hamas,” he said.
Netanyahu claimed his objective is not merely occupying Gaza but providing a different future for both the region and Israel’s occupied lands. He highlighted former U.S. President Donald Trump’s full support for his plan to occupy Gaza City.He also argued that the existence of a Palestinian state poses a threat to Israel.
The prime minister described as positive the recent release of an Israeli captive from Lebanon.
