U.S. “Time Bomb” in Iraq: Surge of ISIS Wave from Syria
An Iraqi security source reported the transfer of ISIS leaders adn their families from Syria to Iraq.
An Iraqi security official in Anbar province told webangah News Agency, citing Al-Maalomah, that a new group of ISIS militants’ leaders along with their families are being moved from the Al-Hol camp in Syria to the Al-Jad’ah camp in Nineveh province.
The source added that this move comes amid security warnings and political protests. Security officials and tribal elders in Anbar have opposed the transfer, warning that the return of ISIS members to Anbar poses a ticking bomb threat.
The official emphasized that this relocation is taking place under U.S. pressure on baghdad.
