These sources emphasized‌ that Egypt is reviewing ⁢the structure of its⁣ security‌ communication channels with Israel following the Israeli attack on Doha. ⁣This move aims to ⁤protect Egypt’s sovereignty and its‍ position as a mediator in the Gaza conflict.

Egyptian ⁤officials announced ⁣on Friday that‌ Israeli​ plans ​to assassinate Hamas leaders ⁤within‌ Egyptian territory have been thwarted. ‍They also warned ⁣that carrying out such operations would⁢ be considered an act of war against Cairo and‌ a violation of Egypt’s national sovereignty.
