10 Journalists Killed in Israeli Regime Attack on Yemen
The Yemeni Journalists Union announced that at least 10 journalists were killed and several others injured in an Israeli airstrike on the 26th September newspaper building in Sana’a on Wednesday, according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Arabic 21 via Mehr News Agency.
The union strongly condemned the Israeli aggression and stated that several individuals inside the building remain missing under the rubble.
It described the Israeli assault as a war crime and a clear violation of all international laws protecting media outlets and freedom of expression during wartime.
The union called on international organizations concerned with media freedom and expression to condemn this attack and take action to protect media personnel.
Wednesday’s brutal attacks by Israel on Sana’a and Al-Jawf province in northern Yemen left at least 166 dead or wounded.
