Iraqi Representative: We Will Never Submit to U.S. Dictates
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Malooma, Iraqi MP Mohammed Al-Khafaji emphasized on Sunday that the United States has no right to intervene in Iraq’s internal matters or impose guardianship over the country.
He added that U.S. efforts to interfere with the activities of the Iraqi parliament and block the approval of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) law constitute a clear violation of Iraq’s sovereignty, which they firmly oppose.
Al-Khafaji stated that the Iraqi parliament has the right to pass laws free from external pressure.
he affirmed that Iraq will never submit to American dictates, and that only the will of it’s peopel and legislative institutions can determine its national path. National sovereignty is a red line that cannot be crossed.
