Islamic Jihad: Zionist Criminals Have No Place in Palestine
the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement condemned anti-Zionist operations at Al-Karama crossing on the Jordanian border with occupied Palestine in a statement reported by webangah News Agency. The statement praised a brave young man from Jordan for carrying out this heroic act, describing it as a natural response to escalating, systematic crimes committed by the Zionist enemy in Gaza, the West Bank, and occupied Jerusalem.
It added that the deaths of Israeli officers and soldiers today along the borders of Jordan and Gaza serve as clear evidence that these criminal foreigners have no legitimate claim to this sacred land. The statement underlined that they are doomed to collapse while resistance remains the Palestinian people’s choice.
Islamic Jihad called on Arab nations to intensify resistance efforts to contain the Zionist regime’s crimes against Palestinians and protect Arab sanctities.
Separately, Fatah’s Intifada movement also issued a statement congratulating those behind the Al-Karama crossing operation. It described it as a legitimate response to Israeli occupation forces’ atrocities.
The statement emphasized that this valiant act genuinely reflects the sentiments and stances of both Jordanians and free, resistant Arab peoples fighting against brutal massacres perpetrated by their enemy.
Fatah’s Intifada stressed that this operation dealt a painful blow to Israel’s security doctrine. It characterized it as an incendiary message from a young Jordanian against occupation crimes in Palestine-a sign that circumstances have entered a new phase.
The statement urged Arab peoples to take inspiration from this heroic young Jordanian and join in defending Palestinian identity, dignity, and rights through honorable struggle.
This afternoon at Al-Karama crossing-the border between Jordan and occupied territories-a young Palestinian-Jordanian attacked Israeli soldiers present using both firearms and knives. He killed one soldier with gunfire and wounded another with a knife; later reports confirmed both soldiers died.
Simultaneously occurring today in Gaza’s southern city of Rafah, four Israeli soldiers were killed-and eight others injured-after an improvised explosive device detonated near an armored vehicle.Some media indicated that this happened when an Israeli military convoy hit an explosive trap set by resistance forces.
