Lieberman Calls to Cut Water and Food to Gaza if Trump Plan Is Rejected
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, avigdor Lieberman, former Israeli Defense Minister, brazenly demanded cutting off water and food supplies to Gaza if Hamas rejects president Trump’s proposal concerning the enclave.
Lieberman, who also leads the Israel Our Home party, urged Benjamin Netanyahu-the prime minister facing indictment by the International Criminal Court-to clearly state that “if Hamas does not accept Trump’s plan, all Gaza crossings will be sealed immediately. No humanitarian aid, electricity, water or fuel will be allowed into the strip.”
This statement comes as U.S. President Donald Trump issued a stern warning declaring there is “not much time left to negotiate with Hamas.” He claimed that Hamas has three or four days to respond; if it rejects the deal,Israel will take whatever action necessary.
In a meeting with U.S. military commanders in Virginia, trump further asserted that should Hamas refuse this ceasefire plan for Gaza, conditions for the group woudl become substantially harsher.
