Al-Rashq Welcomes Qatari and Turkish Officials’ Attendance at Sharm El-Sheikh
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency via Quds Al-Akhbariya, Ismail al-Rashaq, a member of Hamas’s political bureau, said, “We welcome the participation of Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, as well as the heads of intelligence from Turkey and Egypt in the new round of negotiations in Sharm El-Sheikh.”
He added that this move gives strong momentum to ongoing talks aimed at achieving positive results for ending the war and exchanging prisoners.
Al-Rashaq emphasized that it also limits Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s room to continue the war and thwart negotiations.
This comes shortly after reports emerged about a session in Sharm El-Sheikh attended by former Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman, Jared Kushner, David Barnea (head of Mossad), along with intelligence chiefs from Egypt and Turkey and Qatar’s Prime Minister.
