11 Pakistani Soldiers Killed on Afghanistan Border
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Reuters has reported that at least 11 Pakistani soldiers were killed in clashes with armed militants near the Afghanistan border.
Media reports indicate that the militant group Ittehad-ul-Mujahideen, affiliated with the terrorist institution Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan, claimed responsibility for the attack.
This news comes amid escalating tensions between neighboring countries Afghanistan adn Pakistan.
Afghan sources reported hearing two powerful explosions last night in Kabul, the capital city.
The Afghan government stated that Pakistan violated its airspace by bombing a marketplace and carried out an incursion targeting Kabul.
A spokesperson for the Pakistani army responded to last night’s explosions in Kabul and several other locations across Afghanistan by calling on Kabul to take action against terrorist elements, without confirming or denying any Pakistani involvement in these incidents.
