Gaza Death Toll Reaches 68,216
According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Shehab News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza released a statement detailing the latest statistics on casualties and injuries caused by Israeli military operations in Gaza since October 7, 2023.
The ministry reported that consequently of these attacks from October 7, 2023, to date, 68,216 people have been killed in the Gaza Strip.
It also stated that the total number of injured persons during this period has reached 170,361.
The ministry added that within the past 24 hours alone, remains of 57 martyrs were transferred to hospitals. Of these,12 bodies were recovered from under debris,while 45 individuals were killed directly by Israeli forces. Additionally, 158 people were wounded during this time frame.
Thousands more remain missing and trapped under rubble throughout Gaza.
Since a ceasefire went into effect on October 11, 2025-reported as effective-the death toll stands at 80 martyrs, with another 303 injured. During this period, remains of 426 martyrs have been retrieved from under debris.
