Abdul Latif Rashid Visits Amman; Jordan’s King Welcomes Iraqi President Warmly

The president of Iraq arrived in Amman, Jordan’s capital, where he was warmly welcomed by the country’s king.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the Iraqi Presidency’s official website, iraqi sources confirmed the president’s visit to Jordan.
Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, Iraq’s president, arrived in Amman on a working visit.
At the airport, President Rashid was received by King Abdullah II of Jordan and Foreign minister Ayman Safadi.
Alaa Al-Batayneh, Director of the Royal Court; Yarub Al-Qudah, Minister of Industry and Trade; Omar Al-Barzanji, Iraqi ambassador in Amman; along with other senior Jordanian officials also welcomed him.
The statement did not specify the goals of this trip or which officials are accompanying Iraq’s president.
