Hamas Member: Hiding Israeli Prisoners’ Bodies Offers No Benefit to the Resistance

A senior Hamas official affirmed the resistance’s commitment to the ‍Gaza ceasefire agreement, accusing the Israeli regime ⁤of obstructing ⁢efforts to‍ recover the bodies of captured occupiers.

According to webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera, suhail Al-Hindi,a member of Hamas’‍ political ⁢bureau, stated that Hamas, the resistance, and all Palestinian factions⁣ are fully committed to the ceasefire in Gaza.

In an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera, Al-Hindi added: “The enemy must‌ understand that we abide by the agreement and should ‌stop accusing us of violations.”

He emphasized: “we⁤ have encountered meaningful obstacles in recovering the bodies of captured occupiers and continue to ‌request ‌heavy equipment for this purpose. ⁣We ⁣asked the enemy to allow search teams into red zones to retrieve thes bodies, but they ‍refused. We are still waiting ‍for their approval⁣ for our teams to enter⁣ Rafah for this mission.”

The senior‍ Hamas official‌ noted: “The⁣ resistance has no interest in⁣ hiding ⁣or delaying the return ⁣of ⁣any enemy captive’s body. We have made every effort to recover these remains; any delay lies solely with the⁤ occupiers.”

Suhail Al-Hindi also called on mediators to pressure Israel ⁣into facilitating recovery operations for its remaining captives’ ‍bodies.
