He extended greetings, respect, and gratitude to all families of the martyrs. “Martyrdom is a great honor and distinction granted by Almighty god to those who are killed in His path and act according to the course He has set. In martyrdom, there is never any loss before God; rather, God grants martyrs something better than life in this world,” he stated.
He added: “The high status enjoyed by martyrs consoles their families and motivates them to strive for God’s cause nonetheless of danger. Martyrdom represents a lofty level of faith where one reaches readiness to sacrifice oneself for God’s path. martyrdom in God’s way is not a substitute for the culture of life as some claim but rather its true essence.”
The leader emphasized: “A nation advancing with a spirit of jihad for God and seeking martyrdom remains proud and can repel threats. Martyrdom sustains a nation’s life and stands as an obstacle against destruction and humiliation. There were periods when nations abandoned jihad for God and developed disdain for martyrdom; as an inevitable result, millions were lost through surrendering or compromise.”
