Nouri Maliki Urges People to Vote Against Corruption

Nouri al-Maliki, head of the State of Law Coalition, cast his vote adn predicted that the election results would bring him joy. He called on Iraqis to take part in the elections, sending a message to those hoping for electoral failure, according to reports by webangah News Agency.
After voting,al-Maliki expressed his expectation of widespread public participation and urged all Iraqis to engage in the parliamentary elections as a clear signal against those expecting their defeat.
He added that the Iraqi people and political forces have reached this important day by overcoming all obstacles obstructing the election process.
The State of Law Coalition leader described election day as a day of party and said that once results are announced, they will be even more joyful.
Al-Maliki also called on all political factions and citizens across Iraq to join the elections as part of efforts to combat corruption. He emphasized that they came early to encourage everyone not to delay their participation because this is an vital day for them.
