Heavy Clashes Between Resistance Fighters and Israeli Soldiers in Northern Hebron
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, an Al Jazeera correspondent reported that Israeli forces have stormed the homes of individuals involved in anti-Israeli operations in Wadi al-Hariyah in Hebron city and Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, in the West Bank.
News sources confirm heavy fighting between Israeli troops and Palestinian fighters.
The Al-Khalil Brigades-the armed wing of the islamic Jihad Movement-stated on Tuesday that their fighters engaged with occupying forces who raided Beit Ummar.
The Al-khalil Brigades’ statement added that resistance fighters in Beit Ummar targeted military vehicles along the Jabal Asida route, opening fire on Israeli occupiers and injuring several soldiers.
The group confirmed that its fighters are battling enemy forces on multiple fronts.
Palestinian sources also reported severe clashes between local fighters and occupying forces. In response,Israel has deployed reinforcements extensively to Beit Ummar north of hebron.
