Lebanese President Responds to Israeli Attack on Southern Beirut’s Dahieh

According to‌ teh ‌English section of ​ webangah News Agency,quoting Mehr News Agency and sputnik,Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned the‍ Israeli regime’s targeting of southern Beirut’s Dahieh district. He described the attack as​ further proof of Israel’s disregard for repeated calls to⁣ halt its aggression.

Aoun added that Israel refuses to implement international⁢ resolutions or engage with efforts‍ and initiatives aimed ​at ending escalating tensions and restoring stability.

The president called once again on the international community to assume its‍ responsibilities and intervene ⁤decisively to ‌stop attacks against Lebanon and its people.

Earlier, the Israeli‍ regime carried out⁣ a brutal‌ attack​ on Dahieh in Beirut. Israeli media claimed they had assassinated Hezbollah commander Haitham‍ Ali Tabatabai.
