Hamas: Gaza Residents Trapped in Tents Due to Rainfall
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Manar, Hazem Qassem, spokesperson for Hamas, stated that gaza residents have once again been flooded in their tents due to heavy rains.
He added that despite global efforts, no effective measures have been taken to alleviate this tragedy because of the blockade imposed by the Israeli occupation regime.
The Hamas spokesperson noted that even though decisions were made by the Arab League and the Institution of Islamic Cooperation to support Gaza, all Arab and islamic countries have failed to provide adequate assistance.
Addressing Arab and Islamic nations, Hazem Qassem said: “Gaza holds a right over all arabs, Muslims, and free people worldwide; you abandoned Gaza during war and genocide-do not neglect aid efforts now.”
He emphasized that everyone is expected to take action against this unprecedented humanitarian disaster.
