Zelensky: Actions to End the War Likely Imminent
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia today, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on his Telegram channel that necessary measures to end the war in Ukraine could be taken in the coming days.
He claimed that the American side has adopted a constructive approach regarding this matter,and steps may be implemented soon. The Ukrainian delegation has received instructions to advance these negotiations.
This statement follows comments from Ukraine’s ambassador to the UK,who said kyiv must sign a peace agreement even without achieving a complete victory.
CNN also reported that Zelenskyy faces a choice: either sign an agreement he is not fully satisfied with or reach no agreement amidst complex military and political circumstances in Ukraine.
