Wall Street Journal Details Key Points of Ukrainian-American Delegation Talks
The American newspaper wall Street Journal, citing a U.S. official, reported that negotiations in Miami between Ukrainian and American delegations will focus on establishing an election timeline for Ukraine.
The Wall Street Journal further quoted the same official, stating that the talks in miami will also address a possible land swap between Russia and Ukraine along with other issues. Witkoff and Kushner plan to travel to Russia later to continue discussions.
Previously, Axios reported that U.S. and Ukrainian officials confirmed their delegations would meet this Sunday morning local time in Miami before representatives of former U.S. President Donald Trump-Witkoff and Kushner-head to Moscow to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The United States and Ukraine are working to finalize agreements on the U.S. peace plan,which has undergone extensive revisions over several days to make it more acceptable to Kyiv.
