Iraqi Official Warns UN: Al-Hol Camp Poses Global Security Threat

An Iraqi representative to the UN Security Council has warned that the ongoing situation at the Al-Hol camp in Syria presents a significant threat to international security and stability. He also noted Iraq’s increased political and security stability, enabling it to resolve sovereignty issues independently.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Luqman Al-Faily, Iraq’s representative to the UN Security Council, emphasized the dangers the Al-Hol camp poses to global stability. He stated that the continuing conditions within the camp are a serious threat to international security.

Al-Faily also commented on Iraq’s current stability, stating the nation is experiencing political and security improvements that allow it to address sovereignty matters without the need for UN delegations.

It is worth noting that an anonymous security source in the Al-Anbar province reported that the transfer of ISIS elements and their families from the Al-Hol camp in Syria to the Al-Jada’a camp in Nineveh province has resumed due to pressure from the United States and collusion from elements affiliated with al-Julani.
