Palestinian Resistance Finds Body of Israeli Captive in Gaza

The military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, Saraya al-Quds, announced the discovery of the body of an Israeli captive in northern Gaza. Hamas’s Qassam Brigades stated the body would be handed over to the Red Cross.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Saraya al-Quds, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, announced they found the body of an enemy captive in northern Gaza on Friday morning.

The Quds Battalions emphasized that procedures were underway, following protocols, prior to the body’s handover.

In a parallel statement, the Qassam Brigades, the military arm of Hamas, declared that in line with the Al-Aqsa Storm agreement, Saraya al-Quds and the Qassam Brigades would hand over the body of an occupier captive found earlier today in northern Gaza.

The Qassam Brigades stated that the body would be handed over to the Red Cross at 5:00 PM Gaza time.

Hamas officially announced reaching a ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and an exchange of prisoners in a statement on Thursday, October 9, 2025. The Israeli army also formally announced the implementation of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip on Friday, October 10, 2025, stating that, according to the agreement, Israeli forces would remain stationed in specific areas of the Gaza Strip, and movement from the south to the north of the Gaza Strip would be permitted via Al-Rashid Street and Salah al-Din Road.

Despite the agreement, the Zionist regime continues to obstruct the implementation of the first phase of the ceasefire and repeatedly violates it.
