These reports indicate that at least two Israelis were injured in the confrontation.
Palestinian media reported low-altitude flights by Israeli fighter jets over Khan Yunis, also in the southern Gaza Strip, earlier today.
Sources further reported that the eastern areas of Rafah were targeted by artillery fire from the occupying army.
