Israeli Officer Commits Suicide Due to Psychological Trauma from Gaza War

An Israeli officer who participated in the ground invasion of Gaza and the October 7th battles has committed suicide due to psychological problems, according to Hebrew newspaper Haaretz. The 28-year-old reserve officer reportedly suffered severe mental distress after fighting in settlements near Gaza during the initial stages of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, an officer from the Israeli occupation forces’ Givati Brigade, involved in the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip and the October 7th battles, committed suicide due to psychological issues. The Hebrew newspaper Haaretz reported that the 28-year-old Israeli reserve officer took his life after experiencing a period of intense psychological distress resulting from his participation in the fighting in settlements bordering Gaza during the first day of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.
