Egypt Condemns Israeli Settlement Expansion in West Bank

Egypt has denounced the Israeli regime’s approval of 19 new settlements in the West Bank, calling the move a violation of international law. Cairo reiterated its opposition to all settlement activity and emphasized the need for effective measures to halt Israeli actions.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Egypt has strongly criticized the Israeli regime’s decision to construct 19 new settlements in the West Bank.

Cairo views these settlements as a blatant infringement of international law and has reaffirmed its firm opposition to any and all settlement construction within the West Bank.

Egypt is urging concrete actions to be taken to stop the Israeli regime’s settlement activities. The nation underscored its support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

Egypt considers the West Bank settlements to be a significant impediment to the two-state solution. It has called for the revitalization of the political process to achieve a fair, comprehensive, and lasting peace in the Middle East.

The Israeli cabinet recently approved the construction of 19 new settlements in the West Bank, effectively legalizing this aggressive and occupation-driven endeavor.

Israeli Channel 14 reported that Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet approved Finance Minister Smotrich’s request to regulate 19 settlements in the occupied West Bank.

Some of these settlements are entirely new, while others will be reorganized, including Ganim and Kadim, which were evacuated in 2005 during the dismantling of settlements in the Gaza Strip.
