According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Hebrew-language network ‘Kan’ has claimed that the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has instructed cabinet ministers to refrain from commenting on the protests in Iran.
In recent days, several Zionist officials and media outlets have shown varied reactions to the protests in Iran, ranging from supportive messages by some ministers towards Iranian protesters to the cabinet’s efforts to prevent official positions on these demonstrations from being publicized.
Netanyahu’s move to restrict cabinet comments on Iran protests is seen as an attempt by Tel Aviv authorities to avoid escalating regional tensions.
