Israeli Security Circles Express Alarm Over Egypt’s Non-Conventional Military Buildup

Security circles within the Israeli regime are closely monitoring Egypt’s drive toward developing an advanced, artificial intelligence-based military complex with significant concern. This technological shift is reportedly fueling anxieties in Tel Aviv regarding potential future conflicts and regional power dynamics.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Hebrew-language newspaper Maariv has reported that security circles in the Zionist regime are intensely observing Egypt’s progression toward establishing a sophisticated military apparatus centered on artificial intelligence.

This development has reportedly intensified existing worries within the Israeli regime concerning any potential future confrontations, concerns that Prime Minister Netanyahu himself previously voiced in the Knesset regarding the strengthening of the Egyptian military.

Maariv further noted that Egypt’s objective is not merely to upgrade classic weaponry such as tanks and fighter jets. Instead, Cairo is striving to establish an independent command, control, intelligence, and communications system rooted in specialized software and capable of rapid decision-making processes.

This strategic approach aims to substantially decrease Egypt’s reliance on Western technologies while simultaneously boosting its defensive capabilities, particularly against sophisticated cyberattacks. The Egyptian Armed Forces are actively pursuing the integration of artificial intelligence technologies across their intelligence networks and drone systems.

The newspaper also highlighted the role of the People’s Republic of China in facilitating the transfer of relevant artificial intelligence technologies to Cairo. This non-conventional military enhancement is seen as a direct challenge to the established regional balance of power.
