Eight Thousand Gaza Martyrs Remain Under Rubble; Three Thousand Missing, Says Civil Defense Spokesperson

The spokesperson for the Gaza Civil Defense confirmed that approximately eight thousand Palestinian casualties are still buried beneath the rubble in the Gaza Strip, while more than three thousand individuals remain unaccounted for, as recovery operations continue amidst ongoing conflict.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the spokesperson for the Civil Defense organization in the Gaza Strip announced during an interview with Al Jazeera television that nearly eight thousand bodies of Palestinian martyrs are still trapped under debris, with efforts to recover them ongoing.

This Palestinian official further specified that over three thousand people in the Gaza Strip are currently missing, and their status—whether alive, deceased, or detained—remains unknown. The spokesperson also stated that during search and rescue operations, the remains of hundreds of civilians were found decomposed.

This grim report coincides with the martyrdom of a Palestinian individual who was shot and killed by Zionist regime forces in eastern Gaza City.
