Spain Condemns Escalating Violence in Southern Lebanon as Sovereignty Violation

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Spain‘s Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, has reacted to the ongoing Israeli aggressions against the people of Lebanon, stating that the intensification of violence in southern Lebanon is unjustifiable, a violation of the country’s sovereignty, and impedes direct negotiations.
The Spanish Foreign Minister further called for an immediate cessation of the occupation forces’ aggressions against Beirut.
This development comes as the Israeli army had previously urged residents of the southern Lebanese city of Nabatieh to evacuate their homes and move north of the Zahrani River.
The occupation army claimed to residents of Nabatieh that due to alleged ceasefire violations by Hezbollah, the army was compelled to launch attacks. They advised residents to immediately leave their homes for their safety and head north of the Zahrani River, warning that anyone near Hezbollah centers would be in danger.
The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that six people, including two children, were martyred and four others were injured in an Israeli attack on Al-Marwaniyeh in southern Lebanon.
